You asked for it and we delivered!  Check out the debut of two next-generation slideshow designs — Slide and Swirl — that let you include hundreds of photos in your creation!  We’ve also made it easy to drag-and-drop to change the order of your photos. These slideshows are perfect for when you want to show off lots of photos in one creation, such as a tribute slideshow, vacation slideshow, or wedding slideshow.  We’ll be rolling out many more new slideshows like these in the coming weeks and months.

Attention all scrappers!  Smilebox has just introduced what you’ve been asking for –- square scrapbooks that can be easily printed and added to your 12×12 or 8×8 format scrapbooks!  And best of all … it only takes minutes.  We saved our Smilebox pages to a jpeg and uploaded it to Costco.com and received an 8×8 print for just $1.49 and a 12×12 print for only $2.99.  (Now maybe I’ll finally make some progress on my winter scrapbooks!)  As with any Smilebox scrapbook, you control the background style and embellishments for dozens of different options.  Here are some pages of our favorite square designs (featuring some of our kids!).  We’ll be adding more each week.  Take a peek at our new square scrapbooks -– just type “scrapbooks” in the Smilebox catalog and look for the designs with the purple “square” banner.  If there’s a theme you’re looking for tell us in the comments section below!

Smilebox has added a great new feature that allows you to receive comments from friends and family about your Smilebox –- and the photos and videos you’ve included in your creation!  It’s simple.  After someone plays your Smilebox, they can share with you their reaction by adding their comment next to your creation.  You will get an email letting you know whenever comments are added, so that you can check them out.  Everyone who plays your Smilebox will be able to see other’s comments and can reply back to them, starting an online conversation about your Smilebox creation.  With our new comment feature, Grandma in Boston can tell you how much her grandkids have grown or your best friend down the street can thank you for remembering her birthday.   And it’s easy to control your comments!  You can always delete any comment by clicking on the x button to its right.  If you prefer not to be notified via email when comments get added to your creation, you can just click on the relevant link on your comment notification email.
